Happiness
Happiness is the colour of bright yellow buttercups sprouting up in a sunny field. Happiness tastes like salty tears of joys dripping into beaming smiles. Happiness smells like the inviting aroma of steaming hot chocolate. Happiness looks like friends laughing, and people smiling big beaming smiles.
Happiness sounds like shared songs, and tunes, filled with laughter and joy. Happiness is a feeling that could ever be replaced.

My Waihi Writing. Remembering Summer.
On hot, stuffy school days…
my feet remember the sticky sand spreading beneath the soles of my feet, unleashing the stabbing tuatua, and vicious pincers of grumpy crabs,
my legs remember constantly wading through the frothy broken waves, and becoming more and more exhausted with every step,
my body remembers the sticky rubber of my wetsuit, hugging me tight to the skin, keeping me nice and toasty,
my arms remember slicing through the growing waves, shielding my face from the upcoming force as I dive,
my hands remember digging through the grainy sand, creating mini sand castles, and holes with my fingers,
my face remembers the salty liquid gushing into my mouth, and stinging my eyes,
my mind remembers the fun times we had at Waihi Beach.
